CROCHET PATTERN
By: Yuliya’s Crafts

YOU WILL NEED

Yarn
For this, I used thin cotton. I recommend using two colors.

Crochet hook.
I used a 2mm hook and recommend a hook between 2 and 3,5mm for best results.

Scissors

Needle

Button

YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW

sc - single crochet (US), double crochet (UK)

ch - chain

ring

st - stitch

slst - slip stitch

dc - double crochet (US), treble crochet (UK)

tr - treble stitch (US), double treble/dtr (UK)

tog - keeping several stitches on the hook and closing them together

I will use US terminology for this pattern.

THE MIDDLE OF THE FLOWER

I advise to do the middle of the flowers in a different color than the petals. The middle is a separate part for every flower, and they will all be connected together when you start to do the petals.

Ring of 4

18dc into ring (18)

THE STRAP

Before you start with the petals, you need to do a chain of a certain length. This will determine the size of the bracelet as it is the foundation for the little strap to which you will attach the button. For a small wrist, I would recommend a chain of 5, for medium- 10 and for a thick wrist-15.

Without breaking the yarn, move on to the petals.

PETALS PART 1

“Previous round” - the stitches of the last and only round of the middle part

1. tr, into any st of previous round, keep on hook. 3tr into next st (keep on hook), close all together as 4trtog ch3 and slst into the next st.

2. slst into next st, ch3, 3trtog into next st, ch3, slst into next st. Repeat one more time.

3. slst into next st, ch3, 3tr into next st (keep on hook), tr into next st (keep on hook), close as 4trtog

Without breaking the yarn, repeat all 3 steps with the next flower, picking up a new circle for the middle. Then again, to make the flower thereafter.

TURNING

After the last petal is finished, do a chain. This should correspond to the size of the button that you are planning to use. If it is a small button, I recommend a chain of 10, while a chain of 15 is better for a larger button.

PETALS PART 2

1. 3sc into the chain space over the last tr of the last petal.

2. slst into next st, ch3, 3trtog into next available st of middle part, ch3, slst into next st. Repeat one more time

3. 3sc into the chain space over the first tr of the first petal for that flower.

4. sc between the tips of the petals of the two flowers

Repeat steps 1-4 one more time. Thereafter repeat steps 1-3 one more time.

BACK TO THE STRAP

sc (1 per loop) over first the bottom loops and then, without breaking the yarn, over the top loops of the foundation chain of the strap.

Do not break the yarn. Instead, leave a length and thread it through a needle. Use it to sew on the button.

FINISHED!
